OUR U14 (1995) TEAM HAS BEEN ADMITTED TO THE LISBURN LEAGUE FOR THE 2008/09 SEASON News: Our U8 team has won their first ever piece of silverware, on Sat. 21st June they entered the Garfield Vennard Memorial Trophy and come away as winners on a penalty shootout. Registration Fees for 2008/09 have been set at £30 for all 11-a-side teams and £20 for all Mini Soccer teams and the CIS Mini Soccer School. Weekly training fees will remain at last season's prices. Saturday saw the the end of season Mid Ulster derby match between Portadown & Glenavon. At this match our club held a collection and penalty kick competition in aid of the CLIC Sargent "Kick for Children with Cancer" campaign.

A total of £511.65 was raised and the club has rounded that figure up to £550.00 and on Tuesday evening they presented CLIC Sargent with a cheque. Portadown FC Youth would like to thank Portadown FC for allowing us to collect on Saturday and to the fans of both Portadown & Glenavon for their donations and to all who took part in the penalty kick competition.
