6 Feb 2008 - New Achievement Award

Portadown FC Youth have announced that at this year's Annual Prize Dinner they will be awarding a new prize to one person from the club. The new Achievement Award will be sponsored by Portadown jewellers, Jewellery by Van Scoy of Mandeville Street, and will be awarded each season.

The award will be for one person from the club who has excelled at something they have done through work, school or through the club that involves football. It could be that they have achieved something different through their school team, the Boys Brigade or the Scouts. They could have been chosen for the IFA School of Excellence, IFA School of Excellence Elite Squad, a League Select team or Milk Cup County team. It could be someone who has done something just that little bit extra for themselves, team mates or the club.

Do you know or think that someone at our club that derserves some recognition for doing something just a little bit special or extra to help others. To nominate someone that you believe should receive this award firstly, you should be over 18 years of age, and then download a Nomination Form and return it to the club before the closing date. After that date a specially selected club sub-committee will decide who will be declared the winner.
