A New Name For 'The Academy'

From the start of the 2008/09 season the club has changed the name of the 'The Academy' to the 'Portadown FC Youth CIS Mini Soccer Centre'. At the end of last season the club was assessed by the IFA Grassroots Development Officer for the Craigavon area, Keith Gibson. Our club was successful and awarded the coveted CIS Mini Soccer Centre status.

Girls Football

We would especially welcome girls to the CIS Mini Soccer Centre this year. We have added a female coach, Wendy Cowan, to our coaching staff to help make parents more comfortable about sending their daughters to our Centre.

Every Tuesday

Year 5 from 6pm

Children's Safety

For the safety of ALL children who attend the Mini Soccer Centre the club would ask that each child is personally brought to each training session by a responsible adult up to the point where the session fee is paid and not just dropped off in the car park.

We would also remind parents that the club's insurance does not cover each child until they are on the training pitch.
