Help The Club By Becoming A Sponsor
As with all clubs around the country, the cost of running the club is always rising. Training facilities, kits, training equipment, training balls, match balls, paying for pitches and referees all comes to a very large amount of money. Also the club tries to send teams to tournaments each year, this year 4 teams are going to Ayr to play in the Easter & Spring Festival of Football. To help with the cost of running the club Portadown FC Youth is giving business' or individuals the chance to sponsor the club for a very reasonable price.
There are a few ways that business' or individuals can help the club through sponsorship:
1. Sponsor a page on the website. Each teampage is available for sponsorship for a period of one year beginning at the start of each football season. If you are interested in sponsoring a page what you need to do is email your name, business name, contact details and page you wish to sponsor to portsyouth@yahoo.co.uk and someone from the club's management committee will contact you to discuss the arrangements. The price for this starts at £100 per year for an advert measuring 600 x 85 pixels, obviously a larger advert will cost more and this can be discussed with the management committee. For this form of sponsorship you will have your company's name and/or logo displayed on the page that you have chosen to sponsor, provided it is available, along with the address and contact details for a period of one year from the start of each football season. Your business will also have first refusal on the page when the period of sponsorship ends.
2. Kit Sponsorship. Each team requires a certain amount of kit just to function. Items such as team kit, training bibs, training balls and other training equipment. With the amount of use they receive they need to be replaced at regular intervals. Other items can also be provided such as rain jackets, bench jackets & players equipment bags. Again, send your details to the above email address and someone from the management committee will contact you. For sponsoring these items the precise details will be for you and the management committee to discuss but a photograph will be taken when you present your item(s) to the club and placed on this website along with your company's name and details. The same will be sent in the form of a press release to the local press.
3. Match Balls. Under current regulations each team is required to provide a certain number of FIFA Approved Match Balls at league & cup matches. These balls cost more than a ball you will buy at certain sports shops and the club needs a large number each season with the amount of teams the club runs and amount they are used. Top of the range match balls can cost as much as £80 but prices start at around £13. If you wish to sponsor one or maybe a few of these balls please send an email to the above address and someone from the management committee will contact you. For sponsoring match balls the same applies as to the kit sponsorship.
4. Donation. Any business or any individual can also help the club by making a donation to our club. The donation can be for any amount you wish. If you make a donation then the business name or the name of the individual will be carried on the website in a list of donators.
